Special Events (also called Holiday Events) were first introduced into the game in October of 2019. These are limited-time (typically two- to three-week) events introducing new Cosmetics and activities, and some are themed around real-life celebrations. Most Special Events recur annually (although the exact dates can vary by several weeks from year to year). Some of these events take place in the Secret Area, accessible from the Vault of Knowledge, and provide a limited access to the area to all players. They are separate from, but may overlap with, Seasonal Events and Double Currency Events.

Welcome to Days of Treasure, where maps be mysterious, shovels be plenty, and bounty be ripe for the plunderin’! From Monday, March 3, 2025 at 00:00 PST (UTC-8) through Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), mind your sea legs and gather 'round, for adventure calls in the land of the seven realms!
A series of enchanted maps have drifted into the realms of Sky, leading to troves of hidden wonders. But beware, for the sands of time slip swiftly through the glass, and once the map’s magic fades, so too will the treasures! Aye, ye must be swift, sharp, and ready to heave ho!
Tournament of Triumph - July-August 2024 []
Tournament of Triumph
A brand-new event called the Tournament of Triumph opened in the Realms for the first time! From Monday, July 29, 2024 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) through Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), players could join a rotating series of games that had them running, leaping, soaring, and even scampering through some of the best-known places in Sky! For the duration of the event, the Crab of Triumph appeared in Home and Aviary Village, offering to take players directly to a special version of the Coliseum.
Each day until the day of the closing ceremony, players could take part in two different games to enjoy some lighthearted and friendly competition with fellow Sky Kids. Complete games to score points for your assigned team and earn event currency—along with some extra Light to reward your efforts. On the final day on August 18, fly to the closing ceremony in the Coliseum to celebrate the winning team under the thunderous roars of the crowds.
Tournament of Triumph is TGC's way of exploring how they can introduce healthy competition in team events while staying true to Sky’s positive, cooperative nature. So wear your team colors proudly, do your best, and remember to celebrate each other throughout the games and the closing ceremony!
Days of Music []
Days of Music is a new event based on the previous year's Harmony Hall Grand Opening celebration event. Days of Music began on July 3, 2023 at 00:00 and ended on July 16, 2023 at 23:59 PDT (all times, UTC -7), taking place in Harmony Hall in Valley of Triumph. During the event, the Harmony Hall Guide at Home offered to take players to the event area.
Days of Style []
Days of Style is an annual event celebrating self-expression and creativity through fashion that usually happens around the beginning of October and lasts until the middle of the month. It was first introduced in 2023, following after Days of Sunlight.
During the two-week event, fashion runways appear in different locations throughout the Realms, bringing with them a special Closet Shrine that offers a rotating selection of cosmetics for players to temporarily borrow. Each of these runways offer a unique theme, and players are invited to create an ensemble interpreting that theme in whichever way they choose. A nearby Shared Memory Shrine can be used to show off your creativity and best runway walk for other Sky Kids to enjoy. So, grab your Cape, perfect your pose, and get ready to shine!
Fashion-themed IAPs are available from the in-game shop, and the Style Guide Spirit offers various cosmetics from their Friendship Tree. Free Spells to try all of these items can also be collected from the Style Gift Box at Home or the Spell Shop in Aviary Village.

These events are tied to external IPs that Sky collaborated with. Some of these events brought exclusive Cosmetics and activities. These events are not expected to repeat, even though some collaborative events did recur.
AURORA: Homecoming - June 2025[]

A village isn't complete without a cafe, and it's finally time to open one in Sky. From Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) until Friday, May 17, 2024 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), join the collaboration event for the grand opening of Aviary Village’s new cafe, featuring the beloved Sanrio character Cinnamoroll! This shy but friendly pooch knows a thing or two about cafes, and he’ll be in Aviary Village for a special three-week celebration welcoming Sky Kids to the newest gathering place in the kingdom.
AURORA Encore Concerts - August-September 2023[]
AURORA Encore Concerts
Sky is collaborating once more with acclaimed vocal artist AURORA to guide players through a musical journey! The AURORA Encore Concerts run from August 23, 2023 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) through September 3, 2023 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), during which the AURORA Concert will be open to everyone as part of a celebration for Sky's attendance at gamescon in Cologne, Germany. For the duration of the event, the AURORA Guide appears in Home, offering to teleport players directly to the Coliseum.
During this Encore event, the original Season of AURORA IAPs were available to purchase again, in addition to the "Cure for Me" Outfit and Mask originally offered by the AURORA Guide. There were two new items to collect as well, including an Expression available for Tickets and a pair of Sneakers as an IAP!

Kizuna AI Collaboration - February-March 2022[]
Kizuna AI Collab
The Virtual YouTuber Kizuna AI began her "indefinite hiatus" on February 26, 2022 JST (UTC+9), and to help her fans in Sky mark the occasion, a bundle of items was offered for those wishing for something to remember her by.
The Kizuna AI Pack contains three items: the Kizuna AI Hairstyle, the Kizuna AI Hair Accessory, and the Kizuna AI Cape. The Hair is a long, straight hairstyle with pink streaks throughout, and stringy, side-swept bangs. The Hair Accessory is a pink hairband with the characteristic Kizuna AI bow on top. The Cape has the same silhouette as the Base Capes—it is white on the outside and deep pink on the inside. The Cape Star Patterns on the back are shaped like hearts. Two Spells of the Hair Accessory were available for free from the Sleepy Traveler's Boat at Home.
This pack was introduced in 2022 as a limited-time offer and was available for $19.99[2] from the Kizuna AI NPC in the Secret Area sitting next to the Office NPC, for the duration of the event only. (Since these are part of a limited collaboration, they are not scheduled to return in future years.)

Take part in daily trivia, reflection, and prediction to explore 16 unique personality profiles; from the generous Provider to the curious Mastermind.
Place your daily prediction, return later to reveal the answer, and earn themed cosmetic rewards along the way. Learn more at the Reflection Pool and celebrate the personalities that make the Sky community shine.
While the event is active, players can also answer a new personality trivia question each day to earn one regular Candle.
Workshop Show & Tell - June 2025[]

Slow down to relish the act of creating during Sky’s newest and cozy event. From Monday, June 23, 2025 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) through Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), the guide Spirit for this event will take players to the Aviary Village Nesting Workshop, where everyone is invited to view Shared Memories and create Shared Memories of their own. There will also be a number of brand new props in the Nesting Workshop, all available for regular in-game currency.
There will be no Event Tickets during the event.

To celebrate Sky's fifth anniversary, on July 13 and July 14, 2024, TGC is hosting an event modeled after Sky Assemblies in-game.
Spring Camping: A Cozy Gathering in Daylight Prairie - March 2024 []
Spring Camping
Join Spirits from Season of Assembly on a short, relaxing camping trip in the Realms. From March 4 until March 10 PDT head over to the space in Daylight Prairie above the eight-player door to see them and make a campsite of your own!
During their week-long camping trip, they’ll bring a fire that shares Social Light with everyone, as well as a special Shared Spaces Shrine that offers a range of items for everyone to use—including a couple of new pieces that could build something a little sturdier than just a tent. Head over with friends or find new ones there, and you might also catch a glimpse of a mysterious creature who sometimes can be spotted in the area, too.
Note that the Assembly Spirits visiting during this event are not a part of the Returning Spirits Group in the event area.
Aviary’s Firework Festival - November-December 2023[]
Aviary’s Fireworks Festival
For two weeks from November 27 through December 11, help the Enchanted Pyrotechnician event guide gather materials to create a magnificent fireworks show. During this event, players can collect fireworks rocket-shaped event currency to unlock the Festival scepter and Festival earrings.
Once everything is ready, complete the 8th Seasonal Quest along the center of the Hopeful Steward’s Friendship Tree to join the fireworks finale! This part of the festival occurred on December 12 and continued until December 17.
Aviary’s Firework Festival is available to all players have completed the 4th Season of Revival quest, and can be accessed on the first day of every month.
Lazy Days - September-October 2022[]
Lazy Days
Starting in 2022, Days of Summer and Days of Summer Lights combined to become, Lazy Days. Both event's cosmetics were available during 3 weeks starting on September 26 and ended on October 16, 2022. Players were able to get some light by lighting seashells and themed items for this event were offered through the Summer Guide and in-game shop.

Days of Summer - August 2021[]
Days of Summer
To celebrate the summer, Days of Summer began on August 12 (00:00 PDT, UTC-7) through August 25 (23:59 PDT) 2021. For the occasion Home space was decorated with a little beach adorning a sand castle, the Days of summer guide, a tunnel under the sand castle and a fire pit. A floating island gave players the ability to chat and players were able to get some light by lighting seashells and hanging near the fire pit. Themed items for this event were offered through the Summer Guide, in-game shop and Traveling Spirits.

Days of Summer Lights - September 2021 & 2020[]
Days of Summer Lights
In 2021, Days of Summer Lights was a later phase of the Days of Summer event where the Lantern from the previous year returned for the occasion as an IAP. The event ran from September 20, 2021 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) through October 3, 2021 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7) and the bonfire in Home was lit once again for players to collect up to a certain amount of Light, growing in size during the second week for a hurrah to celebrate the time of year. In 2020, the event began on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) and ended Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7).

Children's Day - May 2021[]
Happy Children's Day!
Beginning at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) on May 3 a short one time event took place in Sky. In Celebration of the Children's Day around the world, the Sleepy Traveling Merchant's boat appeared at Home and each day, players were able to collect free versions of the all new pinwheel spell to try out. More Pinwheel spells are now available to craft in exchange for regular Candles in the Spell Shop located in the Forgotten Ark in Golden Wasteland. Event concluded at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7) on May 9 2021.
Days of Healing - May-June 2020[]
Days of Healing
The Days of Healing was a one time charity fundraising event held from May 18 to noon PDT (UTC-7) June 22 2020.[3] In continuation of TGC's integration of real-world relief efforts in Sky, TGC partnered with Doctors Without Borders and the #PlayApartTogether initiative to support the fight against COVID-19.
The Healing Pack was offered as an IAP for $19.99[2] from the Premium Candle Shop and included a flower hair accessory and 75
