Sky Anniversary (also known as Days of Sky) is an annual event celebrating the game's anniversary that happens around mid-July for two weeks in July. The Secret Area is open to everybody during this event, featuring extra decorations and an Anniversary Guide at the entrance. As part of the celebrations, numbered collectibles that are tied to their specific anniversary year are available to collect—and just like a birthday, they'll only come once![1]
Special activities added to the Secret Area during this event include:
- Small, ark-like boats which players can activate and ride, spreading confetti in the Office space.
- Players can do the Boogie Dance on a piece of floating pizza.
- The Crabs wear party hats.
SkyFest July 2024[]
This year, Sky turns 5! And in case you haven't heard, TGC is throwing an extra special party for the occasion. Sky's 5th Anniversary was called SkyFest, beginning Friday, July 12, 2024 at 17:00 PDT (UTC-7) and continuing until Friday, July 26, 2024 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), lasting 15 days. It featured the first-ever simultaneous in-game and in-person Sky Assembly event for everyone to be a part of. For the duration of the event, the Anniversary Guide appeared in Home and Aviary Village. In addition, the Secret Area in the Vault of Knowledge was open to everyone through a friendly NPC at the gate, with an additional entrance available through the Aviary Event Store.
Meditate at circles in Aviary Village near the Friendship Constellation statue or the gates to the levels. That will take you to a special version of Aviary Village which will be the center of the SkyFest party. The town is decorated just for the occasion, and periodically you can watch or even be part of a parade of Spirits who have made their mark on the realms over the years. Three familiar portals will take you to these locations made just for SkyFest:

SkyFest Wireframe Cape[]
- "A special commemoration of Sky's fifth Anniversary. Allows revising the festive transformation of Aviary Village, History of Sky gallery, Art of Sky gallery, and Developer Talk stage."
The SkyFest Wireframe Cape is a blue gradient version of the Base Cape with a wireframe pattern along the edges and a lopsided scarf wrapped around the player's neck. The scarf is a matching blue color with a pale trim, and features a constellation design shaped like a "5". This Cape was introduced in 2024 and was available for $19.99[3] from the Premium Candle Shop for the duration of the event.
This item gives the wearer and the friends they hold hands with a special ability to revisit the festive transformation of Aviary Village, including the Ball Game, Oreo, Parade, and Fireworks events, alongside the History of Sky gallery, Art of Sky gallery, and Developer Talk Stage. The Cape provides access to SkyFest event spaces only, so it does not include access to the Secret Area or Meditation Area. The option to revisit the SkyFest festivities is enabled in the Expression Menu; simply open the Emote Submenu with the item equipped and select the Cape's icon to be teleported to the SkyFest version of Aviary Village. (Since this is a numbered item for a specific birthday year, it is not scheduled to return in future years.)[1]
SkyFest Oreo Headband[]
- "You too can sport Oreo's iconic ears."
The SkyFest Oreo Headband is inspired by Oreo, featuring a pair of black ears and a small white muzzle with a pink tongue poking out. This Hair Accessory was introduced in 2024 and was available for $4.99[3] from the Premium Candle Shop for the duration of the event.
5th Anniversary Headband[]
The 5th Anniversary Headband is a thin, light blue headband adorned with five white floating diamonds. This Hair Accessory was introduced in 2024 and was available for 3 from the Anniversary Guide in Home and the Secret Area for the duration of the event. (Since this is a numbered item for a specific birthday year, it is not scheduled to return in future years.)[1]
SkyFest Star Jar[]
The SkyFest Star Jar is a transparent jar shaped like an 8-pointed star with a cork and a gold handle attached to the top. Inside, it contains five small stars. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. When placed down, it can be picked up and held by the handle. This Prop was introduced in 2024 for 15 from the Anniversary Guide in Home and the Secret Area for the duration of the event.
SkyFest 5th Anniversary T-shirt[]
The SkyFest 5th Anniversary T-shirt is a pair of blue shorts paired with a white tee that features a constellation shaped like a "5" and a light blue tag on the front hem. This Outfit was introduced in 2024 for 10 from the Anniversary Guide in Home and the Secret Area for the duration of the event. (Since this is a numbered item for a specific birthday year, it is not scheduled to return in future years.)[1]
SkyFest Jenova Fan[]
The SkyFest Jenova Fan is a light blue, square-shaped hand fan with the face of Jenova Chen's Spirit on both sides. When equipped, it is held by the player in a pose similar to the Fireworks Staff. It cannot be placed and therefore cannot be used in Shared Spaces. This Prop was introduced in 2024 for 7 from the Anniversary Guide in Home and the Secret Area for the duration of the event.

A Sky Anniversary pizza Ticket
Sky turns 4 this year, and for the occasion TGC is throwing a big dance party in the Office! From July 17, 2023 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) until July 30, 2023 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), head to the rooftop to watch some Spirits perform periodically, bust out your best moves on a shiny new dance floor, and try your hand at a new "sequencer" feature that allows you to record and playback loops of music from a variety of instruments.
A crew of special Spirits will make an entrance on stage in the area, too—catch several performances every hour, with a different lineup each day. Near the Jam Station, players will recognize the percussion, the sound of the Roland TR-909 drums[4], available at the Anniversary Jam Station exclusively during this event!

- "Squishes, bounces, and squeaks, oh my! Cuddle your very own little Oreo."
The Anniversary Plush is a stuffed animal shaped like Oreo that you can hug and toss around for other players to squeeze as well. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. This Prop was introduced in 2023 for $9.99[3] from the Premium Candle Shop.
4th Anniversary Hat[]
The 4th Anniversary Hat is a light blue jester's hat with four points. This Hair Accessory was introduced in 2023 for 8 from the Anniversary Guide. It was only available during Sky's 2023 Anniversary.
Anniversary Sonorous Seashell[]
The Anniversary Sonorous Seashell is a white conch with multicolor triangles decorating the top. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. When activated, the mouth glows while playing the musical theme used during the Dance Party performance for the Sky Anniversary. This Prop was introduced in 2023 for 46 from the Anniversary Guide.
Anniversary Party Lights[]
The Anniversary Party Lights is a square gray projector. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. When activated, it rises off the ground to project a colorful spotlight accompanied by spinning disco lights. This Prop was introduced in 2023 for 46 from the Anniversary Guide.
New Spells[]
Balloon Spell Shop[]
For the occasion, a Balloon Spell shop offers players a variety of funny Spell Hair Accessories made of balloons. These Spells were introduced in 2023 for:
- 2 or 4 for Spells from the Spell shop next to the drink stand.
- 1 for an instant buff from the Spirit at the drink stand
Confetti Collar Spell[]
The Confetti Collar Spell is a blue fringe collar with white accents. This Neck Accessory Spell was introduced in 2023 for 4 from the Spell shop in the Secret Area.
July 2022[]
The Sky Anniversary celebration returned for a third edition, and for the occasion the Secret Area awaited everyone for the party. The event began July 18, 2022 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) and ended August 3, 2022 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7). [5]
Just like previous years, the Office's interior was decorated to suit the occasion. The Anniversary Guide at the entrance of the Office was full of new cosmetics, Props, and Birthday Cake Spells.
On the rooftop, there was a large stage with multiple chat picnic tables, an ice cream cart full of Spells, and Spirit guests everywhere - making this location the best place to gather with your friends or showcase your talents on stage. Every hour, starting at reset at 00:00:00 PST/PDT, mini events took place:
- 8 additional Spirits appeared on the stage to perform "Happy Birthday" while the Spirit guests gathered around to applaud them.
- An invisible wall appeared around the stage and a tiny spell transformed every Sky kid inside for about 2 minutes.
- A Spirit performed magic, making different creatures appear on stage.
- The big cannon shot confetti, filling the entire roof when players used it.
- And many more....
Most of the collectibles were available from the Anniversary Guide, found at the entrance of the Office. The one exception was the Electric Blue Guitar from the TGC Guitar Pack, which is sold by the NPC who sells the Founder's Pack.

TGC Guitar Pack[]
The Blue Electric Guitar in the TGC Guitar Pack is a v-shaped guitar with three white sparkles decorating the body. It is bundled with 115 . This Instrument was introduced in 2022 for $29.99[3] and can be purchased from the same NPC who offers the Founder's Pack, on the first floor of the Office. Although this instrument first appeared as part of the Sky Anniversary event, it will remain permanently available in the game. More information can be found on TGC's helpshift website.
3rd Birthday Hat[]
The 3rd Birthday Hat is a light blue crown with three points. This Hair Accessory was introduced in 2022 for 3 from the Anniversary Guide. It was only available during Sky's 2022 Anniversary.
Anniversary Light Fence[]
The Anniversary Light Fence is a low arch made of round lights. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces and serve as a source of light. This Prop was introduced in 2022 for 20 from the Anniversary Guide.
Anniversary Balloons[]
The Anniversary Balloons are a bundle of blue balloons tied together on a string. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. This item is purely cosmetic and does not offer any functionality. This Prop was introduced in 2022 for 30 from the Anniversary Guide.
Anniversary Confetti Launcher[]
The Anniversary Confetti Launcher is a small white cannon with gold accents. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. When activated, the cannon shoots out colorful confetti. This Prop was introduced in 2022 for 20 from the Anniversary Guide.
Happy Birthday Music Sheet[]
Music Sheet allows you to play "Happy Birthday". This Music Sheet was introduced in 2022 for 3 from the Anniversary Guide. It is a song in the key of G Major.

The Anniversary Birthday Flag (also known as Sky Anniversary Pennants) is a set of colorful flags strung between two poles. It is a placeable Prop that can be used to decorate Shared Spaces. This item is purely cosmetic and does not offer any functionality. This Prop was introduced in 2021 for 20 from the Anniversary Guide. It appears as a smaller version of the flags placed down on its owner's back when carried.

Sky Anniversary Quest and Celebration - Sky- Children of the Light
The first Sky Anniversary celebration started on July 13, 2020 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) (coinciding with the start of Season of Sanctuary) and ended on July 19, 2020 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7), lasting 7 days. A Double Currency Event also took place. A meditation quest for the Meditation Shrine near the Office door was added.
