Memory[]
The Gloating Narcissist can be found behind the right statue on the Starlight Desert's amphitheater, behind the entrance from Vault of Knowledge. This Spirit has a standard memory with 7 memory fragments and a 10-minute time limit.
As their memory unfolds, the Gloating Narcissist can be seen enthusiastically performing for an empty amphitheater. At first, they strike dramatic poses on a floating boat that from one side of the stage to the other. Afterwards, the Spirit dismounts to pose directly in front of the various mirrors that populate the stands. Lastly, the Gloating Narcissist ends the performance by taking a bow at center stage.
At the end of the memory, the Spirit pumps up the nonexistent crowd by gesturing widely, in hopes of generating a stronger response.
The Little Prince enters the scene clapping, promoting the Gloating Narcissist to announce, "A traveler from afar is here to admire me. I am the handsomest, best-dressed, richest, and most intelligent man on the island."
Confused, the Little Prince looks around the empty amphitheater and replies, "But you're the only man here."
As if they didn't hear anything, the Gloating Narcissist continues to hype up the nonexistent crowd, calling for them to "Please keep applauding!"
The Little Prince obliges and contemplates aloud, "The grown-ups are certainly very odd."

Expression[]
This Spirit offers the Gloat Expression, which has 4 Levels.
- Level 1 will make your avatar raise both arms up and scoop their hands a few times to dynamically animate others to applaude, while whistling and cheering crowd sound effects play.
- Level 2 makes the same motion as Level 1, with glowing, golden sparkles flying up slowly around your avatar, and blue trails of light following the motion of their hands.
- Level 3 will make your avatar rapidly step to the left with one leg, hold their left hand behind their ear, and scoop their hand up a few times, before standing up straight and holding their right hand behind their right ear, then the left hand behind their left ear, and finally only raising their forearms and scooping their hands inwards a few times, while whistling and applauding sound effects play.
- Level 4 makes the same motion as Level 3, with a blue trails of light following the motion of your avatar's hands, as well as a few glowing, golden sparkles slowly flying up from around your avatar at the final gesture.
As a Traveling Spirit, the prices of the three Expression upgrades were the standard 4 
, 3 , and 6 . During the Season, Levels 2 and 4 were free, but were only available to Season Pass holders.

The Outfit offered by this Spirit includes a blue, sleeveless jumpsuit with a thick, lighter blue stripe down the middle, poofy pants which end over the knees, and long, blue gloves that reach higher than the elbows, costing 65 
from the Traveling Spirit. It was a Season Pass exclusive item during the Season, available after unlocking the Friendship Tree's fourth node (54 
total).
Hair[]
The Hair offered by this Spirit is made of wavy hair with a side part, a few shorter strands hanging down the front, and longer hair in the back, which is slightly pulled back on the sides, costing 46 from the Traveling Spirit. It was available to all players during the Season from the Friendship Tree's fifth node (80 total).
Music Sheet[]
The Gloating Narcissist offers the 
Music Sheet #22, costing 15 from the Traveling Spirit. It was a Season Pass exclusive item during the Season, available after unlocking the Friendship Tree's second node (14 total). It is a song in the key of F Major.
Traveling Spirit[]
This was the Spirit's Friendship Tree the last time they returned as a Traveling Spirit. These collectibles will not be available for purchase again until the next time this Spirit returns.

- The Gloating Narcissist is inspired by the Conceited Man in Le Petit Prince, written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
- The Gloating Narcissist's Music Sheet was altered before the Live release. It is more slow paced and melancholic than the Beta Music Sheet, with a different background track and a slightly altered harmony part. The Beta version of the Music Sheet was later added as
Music Sheet #25.
