The Frantic Stagehand is a Seasonal Spirit from the Season of Performance who offers the 
Handshake Action. The Frantic Stagehand is found in the Village Theater on the player's left when coming from the Village of Dreams, between two buildings. The collectibles offered by this Spirit are an

Memory[]
The Frantic Stagehand can be found in the Village Theater, on the player's left when entering from Village of Dreams, between two buildings that face the Theater's stage. This Spirit has a standard memory with 8 memory fragments and a 15-minute overall time limit.
As their memory unfolds, the Frantic Stagehand can be seen carrying a large pile of props over to the Village Theater's stage. The Mellow Musician is seen leaning against a nearby building, and watches as the Stagehand drops a small item. The Stagehand walks back to pick up the fallen item, and continues on their way. After this, they drop a much bigger prop, and Musician rushes over to help pick up the larger prop. The two Spirits both carry the props together, sharing the workload for the rest of the walk.
At the end of the memory, the two Spirits pause for a moment after dropping off the props near the backstage entrance. The Musician wipes their forehead, and Stagehand dusts off their hands. The Frantic Stagehand then extends a hand to the Mellow Musician, and the two gently shake hands.
Friend Action[]
Note: While this Spirit can be found in the Village Theater, the upgrade to the "Handshake" Friend Action will not be available for those who missed the Season or those who did not purchase the Season Pass until the Spirit returns as a Traveling Spirit.
This Spirit offers the Handshake Action, which has 2 Levels.
- Level 1 will make your avatar extend their right hand before your friend, allowing them to shake your hand. You will gently shake your hands up and down while a series of bongo and percussion sound effects play.
- Level 2 will make your avatar extend their right hand just as in Level 1, but when your friend accepts and holds out their hand, you will complete the handshake with two hands instead of one. Your hands will clasp around your friend's hand, and you will shake your friend's hand much more quickly than in Level 1. During this second Level, similar bongo and percussion sound effects play at a more rapid tempo.
Like any Extended Two-Player Ability, this ability can be upgraded by opening your friend's Friendship Menu. To reach the 12th node before the ability, it will cost you 41 
and 16 
. (See Friendship Menu to view the entire Friendship Tree). Unlocking the Level 1 ability will cost you 16 . After unlocking Level 1, it will cost you 18 more to upgrade to Level 2.
As a Returning Spirit, the price of the Friend Action upgrade was 8 
. During the Season, Level 1 was free, but Level 2 was only available to Season Pass holders.

The Outfit offered by this Spirit is a dark blue, long-sleeved dress with a lighter grey shoulder piece and a paint-stained cloth attached to the side, costing 70 from the Traveling Spirit. It was a Season Pass exclusive item during the Season, available after unlocking the Friendship Tree's fifth node (88 
total).
Mask[]
The Mask offered by this Spirit is a round, stone gray mask with a pointed nose and a long, bushy monobrow, costing 34 from the Traveling Spirit. It was available to all players during the Season from the Friendship Tree's fifth node (88 total).
Hair[]
The Hair offered by this Spirit is a dark blue hood with cat ear shapes and yellow stitching around the face-framing hem, costing 48 from the Traveling Spirit. It was a Season Pass exclusive item during the Season, available after unlocking the Friendship Tree's second node (10 total). Note that this item is considered a Hair, not a Hair Accessory, and as such it can not be worn over other Hairstyles.
Music Sheet[]
The Frantic Stagehand offers the 
Music Sheet #29, costing 22 from the Traveling Spirit. It was available to all players during the Season from the Friendship Tree's third node (32 total). It is a song in the key of F Major.
Traveling Spirit[]
This Spirit has not yet returned as a Traveling Spirit. When they do return, they will offer the same collectibles as during their Season, but in a restructured Friendship Tree with new non-Seasonal prices for all items. Any items that were SP-exclusive during the Season will become available to all players.

On April 7 2022, TGC officially announced [2] and introduced Frantic Stagehand with the following personality traits:
- Frantic Stagehand, ensuring all is in place for opening night!
- Has anxiety dreams about missing props
- Carries at least 5 lists at all times
- Annoyed the others don't also get to practice 20 min. early
- Finds riddles to share with the Storyteller
On February 27, 2023, after being asked "If Performance gang went on tour in an RV, who's driving?", Ash mentioned that "Frantic would be an EXCELLENT navigator to the driver though I imagine! The best to give directions, outlining travel stops, and prepping snacks for the trip"[3].
