The Tinkering Chimesmith is a Seasonal Spirit from the Season of Flight who offers the Tinker Stance. The Chimesmith is found on the Wind Paths' main island, to the left of the Flight Guide. The cosmetics offered by this spirit are an Outfit, a Hair, a Hair Accessory, and a Kalimba.

Memory

The Tinkering Chimesmith spirit can be found on the Wind Paths's main island, up the stone steps to the player's left if facing the Flight Guide, who stands in the center of the island. This spirit is a standard memory quest with 10 memory fragments and a 15-minute overall time limit.

As you relive its memory, you can see the Tinkering Chimesmith climbing up the stone steps, hanging bells from each stone arch on their way up the mountain. At one point, they drop their hammer while hanging bells from the arches. As they reach the arch on the top of the mountain, they pause and use their hands to measure where they want their bells to hang from. Once they successfully hang the bells from the topmost arch, they board a Manta-driven boat which takes them to an island towards the right of the central island relative to the entrance from the Hidden Forest's Social Space. This island, which is positioned at a higher altitude than the Talented Builder's neighboring island, is home to their workshop, where they are seen pondering their work and curling up next to their worktable.

At the end of the memory, the Tinkering Chimesmith listens to each of their bells ring, lost in thought.

Stance

The Tinkering Chimesmith does not offer an Expression but instead offers a Stance. The Tinker Stance will raise your avatar's arms and point your feet inward. The Stance will affect your avatar's position when standing, kneeling, sitting, or lying down.

• Standing will make your avatar raise their arms close to their chest, and will point their feet inwards.
• Kneeling will make your avatar crouch down, supported by their toes, with their hands placed over their knees. They lean forward as though looking closely at something lower to the ground.
• Sitting will make your avatar sit criss-cross, with their legs folded over one another, and with their hands placed on their knees. Their head is bowed as they sit.
• Lying down will make your avatar lay on their left side with their legs bent and with their hands pressed together under their head.

The outfit offered by this spirit includes pants with an apron, costing 70 from the Traveling Spirit. During the season, it was an SP-exclusive item available after unlocking the friendship tree's second node (16 total).

The Hair offered by this Spirit is a long, fluffy hairstyle with two ponytails in the front held by blue decorative hair bands costing 55 from the Traveling Spirit. It was available to all players during the Season, from the Friendship Tree's second node (12 total).

The Hair Accessory offered by this Spirit is double white, blue, and yellow feathers clipped together on one side of the head, costing 35 from the Traveling Spirit. It was available to all players during the Season, from the Friendship Tree's third node (38 total).

Instrument

The instrument offered by the Tinkering Chimesmith is the Kalimba. Its cost from the traveling spirit is 75 ; during the season, it was an SP-exclusive item available from the friendship tree's fourth node (64 total). It plays 15 notes. You are sitting while playing.

The Kalimba plays the melody part on music sheets. Its pitch is the same as the standard Piano (in C major, it covers C₄ to C₆).

In Harmony Hall, the Kalimba can be found on the back wall, behind and to the left of the front counter, next to the alcove containing the two pianos.

Traveling Spirit

This was the Spirit's Friendship Tree the last time they returned as a Traveling Spirit. These collectibles will not be available for purchase again until the next time this Spirit returns.
