September 2021

Days of Summer Lights was a later phase of the Days of Summer event where the Lantern from the previous year returned for the occasion as an IAP. The event ran from September 20, 2021 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) through October 3, 2021 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7) and the bonfire in Home was lit once again for players to collect up to a certain amount of Light, growing in size during the second week for a hurrah to celebrate the time of year.

Players were able to collect free Spells during the Days of Summer Lights event from the Sleepy Traveler’s boat to try out all the new items. Each of these temporary Spells last for 30 minutes.

Summer Lights Accessory

The Summer Lights Accessory is a round, pink bunny that sits on the player's head. This Hair Accessory was introduced in 2021 for $2.99 from the Premium Candle Shop for the duration of the event.

2021 New Spells

Lotus Message Boat Spell

For the duration of the event, all Message Boats were made to resemble orange lotus flowers floating peacefully on the water. Like regular Message Boats, the Lotus Message Boat will earn the player a Heart upon reaching 50 likes and disappear after 48 hours. (Note: it can only be placed in water.) This Spell was introduced in 2021 in packs of three for 6 from the Traveling Merchant's boat.

Days of Summer Traveling Summer Props

Each Traveling Spirit that arrived across Days of Summer and Days of Summer Lights introduced a prop that can be enjoyed on the sea shore, in your Shared Spaces, or anywhere else you adventure with friends.

• A comfy beach recliner - 20 candles
• A pipe - 20 candles
• A small brazier - 14 hearts
• A pair of wooden deck chairs - 45 candles

To celebrate the nostalgia of past summer nights—and anticipation of those to come—Days of Summer Lights began Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 00:00 PDT (UTC-7) and ended Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 23:59 PDT (UTC-7). TGC worked together with the community to bring this event to the game.

This event also brought back the Sleepy Traveler's boat; however, the Traveler was nowhere to be found, and the boat now bearing the Spell shops was found in Forgotten Ark.

The Sleepy Traveling Merchant offered free Spell versions of all of the event items on their boat. Players could get 3 Message Boats and 2 Lanterns free every six days. Each of these temporary Spells last for 10 minutes.

2020 New Cosmetics and Props

Days of Summer Lights Pack

The Days of Summer Lights Pack includes the Days of Summer Lights Lantern and 35 . The Days of Summer Lights Lantern is a boxy gray lantern hanging from a short rod. It is a non-placeable Prop and serves as a source of light when held. This Prop was introduced in 2020 for $19.99 from the Premium Candle Shop for the duration of the event.

Message Boat Spell

The Message Boat Spell allows players to place paper boats with custom messages floating peacefully on the water. The Message Boat will earn the player a Heart upon reaching 50 likes and disappear after 48 hours. (Note: it can only be placed in water.)
