The Ceasing Commodore is a Seasonal Spirit from the Season of Abyss who offers the Calm Down Expression. The Ceasing Commodore is found in the Treasure Reef on the back side of the little island where the player first lands, near the Abyss Guide's ship. The collectibles offered by this Spirit are a Mask, a Hair, and a Cape.
Memory[]
The Ceasing Commodore can be found by flying over the back end of the hill where you first arrive, behind the Abyss Guide's ship. This Spirit has a standard memory with 8 memory fragments and an unlimited overall time limit.
As their memory unfolds, the Ceasing Commodore and the Abyss Guide can be seen going on a search for black crystals. On their search through the island, they spot two crystals at different places, and assemble them in a bucket the Abyss Guide carries, while the Commodore looks for new findings. A bit further on their way, the two adventurers spot another crystal at the top of a tower. The Abyss Guide immediately tries to climb up the wall, but the Ceasing Commodore calmly stops them, volunteering to scale the tower instead.
The remaining memory fragments may be a little difficult to gather if you don’t have enough Cape Power, as they are placed high up on the tower wall. Use a Deep Call to summon the nearby butterflies, and let yourself be carried up the tower, where a Light Bloom on the wall can be used to recharge your Wings and help you stay there.
At the end of the memory, the Ceasing Commodore calms the Abyss Guide's determination to climb the tower. Executing what the Abyss Guide had intended to do, the Ceasing Commodore later hangs from the top ledge of the tower, triumphantly holding the large crystal above their head, while the Abyss Guide, watching from below, jumps up delight.
Expression[]
This Spirit offers the Calm Down Expression, which has 4 Levels.
- Level 1 will make your avatar take a small step forward and slightly tilt their head to the side, before extending their arms loosely to the front, palms facing forward, and gently moving them up and down twice, while calm sound effects play.
- Level 2 makes the same motion as Level 1, but with one invisible circle, surrounded by a white glow, surrounding each of your avatar's hands, as well as trails of while sparkles following their motion.
- Level 3 will make your avatar loosely extend their arms, palms facing foreard, and calmly turn to one side, then the other, and at last assume a centered position, with their arms spread apart infront of them, looking from side to side, while calm sound effects play.
- Level 4 makes the same motion as Level 3, but with two big invisible circles, surrounded by a white glow, appearing on the avatar's hands with each turn, as well as trails of white sparkles following their motion.
As a Traveling Spirit, the prices of the three Expression upgrades were the standard 4 , 3 , and 6 . During the Season, Levels 2 and 4 were free, but were only available to Season Pass holders.
